After more than 5 years of efforts of the ONE Lab team, the Multiple-FPGA Interconnection Network-on-Chip (NoC) FPGA technology has been licensed to IP Valley Incorporation, a Canadian-Based start-up Company located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Friday May 31st, 2019.
In this project, the provided NoC technology is capable of connecting four Virtex-7 FPGA kits at a speed up to 10Gbps. This prototype is suitable for multi-FPGAs based cloud computing and parallel processing.
The project was initially funded by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) at the amount of EGP 1.5 Million from 2014-2016. NTRA agency will have 5% of the total deal amount.
