Graduation Projects Proposals 2022

Project 1: Digital Design Track

  • The project involves Digital Design/Verification/ASIC Design.
  • The outcome of this project is a working FPGA prototype and/or an ASIC tape-out for fabrication.
  • FPGA Programming, ISE/VIVADO, VHDL/VERILOG/System Verilog, MATLAB, CADENCE Spectre, CALIBRE

Project 2: Analog Mixed Signal Design Track

  • The project involves Analog design/Layout design/Corners design.
  • The outcome of this project is a working tape-out for fabrication.
  • Verilog-A, MATLAB, CADENCE Spectre, CALIBRE.

Project 3: System Level Design Track (PCB Level)

  • The project involves system level design of off-the-shelf ICs for some industrial prototypes.
  • The outcome of this project is a working PCB prototype.
  • Cadence Spectre, Eagle (or any other PCB software).

Project 4: Machine Learning Track

  • The project involves development of machine learning algorithm for some industrial problems.
  • The outcome of this project is a working software model.
  • Python, C, C++, MATLAB, Machine Learning Basics.

Project 5: Embedded System Track

  • The project involves building an embedded system with the supporting software.
  • The outcome of this project is a working software model implemented on an embedded system platform such as Raspberry Pi.
  • RTOS, Python, C, C++, MATLAB.
