ONE Lab Summer 2019 Internship Students (Abdallah Gabara, Retaj Yousri, and Darine Hamdy) in collaboration with their Internship Mentor Eng. Michael Hany (Former ONE Lab Research Assistant and currently with IC Pedia) won the Best Paper Award (Second Place) at the IEEE International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM 2020) in Jordan.
The paper title is “Patient Specific Epileptic Seizures Prediction Based on Support Vector Machine” and the students have worked on it over Summer 2019. Abdallah is affiliated with the American University in Cairo, Retaj is affiliated with Helwan University, and Darine is affiliated with Alexandria University, whereas their Mentor Eng. Michael is currently pursuing his Master at Cairo University.
Darine Hamdy has also won the Women in Engineering Award for her great efforts during the Summer 2019 Internship program. Watch her review on ONE Lab HERE.
