The Xilinx University Program (XUP) enables the use of Xilinx FPGA and Zynq SoC tools and technologies for academic teaching and research. XUP provides the following for universities:
- Academic licenses for Xilinx software and IP and low cost Xilinx FPGA and Zynq SoC development kits
- Free Xilinx teaching and training material for professors and teaching staff
- XUP technical support and advice for university staff using Xilinx technology
- Free to attend worldwide XUP Professor Workshops for university teaching staff
