The Opto-Nano-Electronics (ONE) Lab at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University announces full-time research assistants vacancies starting April 2019 to contribute on a research project funded by industry.
The candidates should preferably have finished their Pre-Master courses and willing to start their Master research thesis. Motivated highly active new grads are also welcome.
All the work will be performed within the Electronics and Communications department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
Common qualifications for all positions:
- Excellent English technical writing skills.
- Minimum Bachelor grade of Very Good.
- Having published papers is a PLUS.
Digital Circuits Research Assistant (RA_Digital)
- Knowledge of the ASIC and the FPGA design flows
- Excellent knowledge of the VHDL/Verilog programming
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages (C, Python, Matlab).
- Previous expertise in programming FPGA kits
Selected RAs are expected to be engaged in researching and solving some of the problems, simulating the solutions and writing papers.
